The United Way of Knox County will look to bring the community together next month to combat homelessness.
On Tuesday, March 12th, the United Way will host a Homeless Summit. The event will serve as an information gathering session where the public will not only have the chance to learn about how homelessness is impacting Knox County, but to find out how they can help. The summit will also cover what resources are already available that can help.
First-person testimonials, a panel discussion and break out groups are on the docket for the evening event, which will take place at the Vincennes Fortnightly Club.
For more information on the event, you can contact the United Way of Knox County at (812) 882-3624.
