Public Invited to MLK Banquet

The life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. will be celebrated at Vincennes University next week.

The public is invited to partake in a banquet celebration hosted by VU’s Department of Multicultural Affairs. The event will feature words by keynote speaker Frank Leon Roberts. An activist and faculty member at NYU’s Gallatin School, Roberts is best known for creating and teaching the first Black Lives Matter college course in the country.

The banquet will be held on Tuesday, January 22nd at 6:00 p.m. inside VU’s Green Activities Center.

Tickets for the banquet are $5 for member of the public and are on sale in VU’s Old Post Bookstore, located in the Beckes Student Union.
