DCH Makes Donation to VU

Posted on January 14th, 2019

The Daviess Community Hospital Foundation has donated an Automated Electronic Defibrillator to Vincennes University.

The portable device aids individuals who are experiencing sudden cardiac arrest by transmitting a shock to the person’s heart to a regular rhythm. The AED will benefit student athletes and spectators at V-U sporting events.

Angie Steiner, director of the D-C-H Foundation, presented the AED to VU Athletic Director Harry Meeks during halftime of the men’s basketball game back on December 9.
