Architects shared their vision with members of the Pantheon Business Theater Board of what the interior of the building will look like following restorations.
Nick Bunte says the main stage of the former theater and the balcony area would be re-purposed to host community gatherings. The main floor will consist of three offices along with smaller areas for individuals can meet as part of the plan to create a business incubator.
Bunte says they hope to have the drawings completed by November 26th so board members can study them make revisions if necessary.
The Pantheon Board has moved next month’s meeting to December 4th at 4:30 pm. It’s expected board members will approve the schematic drawings and the project can be let out for bids..
According to the time line laid out by the architects, the Board then award contracts for the work during a special meeting January 15th.
Knox County and The City of Vincennes are sharing the cost for renovating the Pantheon which is estimated to cost $2.4 million dollars.
