Indiana’s health will be put in the spotlight tomorrow morning.
The Alliance for a Healthier Indiana will bring their state-wide road show to Vincennes to take a hard look at the core-4 issues that are impacting the state from a health perspective. Those issues are smoking, drug and alcohol addiction, infant mortality deaths and obesity.
According to Good Samaritan Hospital President and CEO Rob McLin, Knox County ranks in the lower third in all four catagories.
The public is invited to attend the event, which gets underway at 7:30 at Vincennes University’s Shircliff Auditorium. A total of 12 speakers will comment on the issues and those in attendance will have the opportunity to ask questions.
There is still time to register for the event. You can do so by visiting healthierindiana.org.
