Purdue Hosting Local Fall into Good Health Event

Posted on August 10th, 2018

Purdue University’s Health and Human Science Extension Educators from the Southwest District have announced an event to encourage good health.

The Fall into Good Health event will take place on Wednesday, September 12th at Vincennes University’s Gibson County Center location.

The event is specifically designed to help those 50 and older better prepare themselves physically for the cold that the late Fall and early winter can bring. Several programs will be offered including Balance, Flexibility, Strength, and Endurance. The Princeton Police Department will also have a session to teach you how to keep yourself safe with self-defense strategies. Although the event is most useful to those of 50, everyone is invited to attend.

Those interested in registering can do so by calling the Purdue University’s Gibson County Extension Office or by mailing in the following information: your name, phone number, home county, email address, and payment of $10 to Purdue University Gibson County Extension Office
