The trail of a Gibson County man accused of murder that was scheduled to take place next week has been moved.
41-year-old Jeremy Schatz is accused of killing John D. Lowe in his Decker apartment in May of last year. Both Jeremy and his cousin, 27-year-old Christopher J. Schatz, Jr. were accused of the crime. Christopher has since pleaded guilty, and is in the midst of serving a 60-year prison sentence. As part of his plea deal, Christopher is set to testify against his cousin during his trial. That trail was originally scheduled for Tuesday, July 17th. A continuance was granted, resetting Schatz’s trial to January 14th of 2019.
