Inclement Weather Pushes Back Bridge Closure

Posted on June 12th, 2018

Due to the large amount of rain we’ve received over the past few days, bridge repair set to take place in northern Knox County has been pushed back.

According to County Highway Superintendent Benji Boyd, the closure of Bridge 32 just south of Bicknell has been pushed back one day. The closure will now take place on Thursday of this week. The closure will see the entire bridge be replaced, and is expected to last around eight weeks. Other local roads just outside of Bicknell will serve as unofficial detours during the closure.
