Hoosiers from across the state will gather at Kimmell Park this weekend for the annual Grouseland Foundation Dinner.
The Saturday night event will feature Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb as the featured speaker.
Foundation President Shirley Rose says it will be an outdoor event with tents and barbecue reminiscent of William Henry Harrison’s time. The event will also kick off the public phase of the Living Legacy Capital Campaign for a $1.2 million dollar restoration plan of Grouseland. Funds have been procured for nearly half the cost of the project at this time through the City of Vincennes and the Jeffris Family Foundation.
