An autopsy has been completed on 2-year-old Jaqreion Anderson. He’s the little boy who died Tuesday afternoon.

Authorities responded to the report of an unresponsive child just before 2:00 p.m. Tuesday. After efforts to resuscitate the child, Anderson was transferred to Good Samaritan Hospital, where he later died.

The boy was home with his siblings and his mother’s boyfriend, 29-year-old Laquentin A. Breeland when the call came out.

An investigation lead to Breeland being arrested by Vincennes Police Tuesday night. He is charged with reckless homicide, neglect of a dependent, and aggravated battery resulting in the death of a child less than 14 years of age. Breeland was booked into the Knox County Jail just after 10:00 p.m.

The results of the autopsy aren’t being released by the Knox County Coroner’s Office at this time while the incident remains under investigation by the Vincennes Police Department.
