Posted on October 12th, 2017

The Nutcracker Ballet is coming to the Red Skelton Performing Arts Center in Early December.

Anne Pratt, Director of the Red Skelton Museum says there will be an opportunity for local students to audition for small roles in the Nutcracker.

The Nutcracker Ballet will be performed by the Children’s Center For Dance Education of Evansville. Pratt says there will be two performances on Saturday, December 16th at 2:00 and 7:00 p.m.

Next month, Pratt says a tribute to the late comedian Bob Hope and the Stars of Old Time Radio will be held on Sunday, November 5th at 7:30 p.m. in the Red Skelton Performing Arts Center.

The Indiana Military Museum in Vincennes is helping to sponsor the USO style show that will feature actors performing skits made famous by Hope and other radio stars of that era. Tickets for the event are $10 and can be purchased online or by calling the Red Skelton Box office.
