The George Rogers Clark National Historical Park will offer their second Historical Walking Tour tomorrow morning at 10:00 a.m.
The hike offers the public the chance to hike with GRC Park Rangers from the grounds of the Memorial to Grouseland and the State Historic Sites. Along the hike, the park rangers will explain the historical significance of a number of locations along the trail, in hopes of providing a better glimpse into the history that runs along the Wabash River. In particular, the rangers will discuss how the story of George Rogers Clark weaves into that of William Henry Harrison and the era surrounding the War of 1812.
The Historic Walking Tours will take place ever Friday in September, and may be extended depending on public interest.
