Salvation Army’s Food Pantry Reopens

Posted on August 8th, 2017

The Vincennes Salvation Army’s food bank is operating again. According to the Vincennes Sun-Commercial, the organization was forced to shut its doors late last month due to a lack of supplies. But thanks to a public appeal, Captain Laura Lunnam says pantry shelves have been re-stocked. Lunnam says the Salvation Army had been assisting up to 30 people per day this summer who were in need of food for themselves or their families. She added that donations are always welcome. For more information you can contact the Salvation Army at 812-882-6933.
