Weekend Saturation Patrol Nets Four Arrests

A weekend saturation patrol held by the Indiana State Police resulted in the arrest of four local individuals.

32-year-old Angela Lecture, 27-year-old Rachel Adams and 28-year-old Chad Oliver were arrested for driving while intoxicated. Oliver was also charged with refusal after being stopped for driving 60 miles per hour in a 20 mile per hour zone on Main Street.

26-year-old James Birge of Vincennes was also arrested during the patrol. He was charged with Public Intoxication after police found him near 6th and Locust streets.

The ISP patrol began Friday night and ran into Saturday morning, and saw state police issue 19 traffic tickets and 40 warnings in addition to the arrests.
