Brett Named to IHSAA Board of Diretors

A familiar face in local high school basketball has been named to the Indiana High School Athletics Association’s Board of Directors.

Steve Brett, a Loogootee grad and former Lions Head Basketball Coach will begin his stint on the Board, effective July 1st. Along with serving as a high school teacher, Brett spent 37 years coaching high school basketball in the Hoosier state, splitting time between Bloomfield, Seymour, Shakamak and Loogootee. During his career, Brett amassed 467 wins, averaging double digit wins throughout his career, Brett is now retired, living in Linton.

He joins Steve Davidson, David Gadis, Steve Platt and Dave Schellhase as new members of the IHSAA Board of Directors.
